Kimberly G. Price

Kimberly G. Price proudly serves as the principal of Warner Elementary School, drawing from a wealth of knowledge acquired through mentorship from esteemed educators who share her profound dedication to education. With over 15 years of experience, Principal Price has dedicated the last five years to Warner Elementary, cherishing the eager students who arrive daily with a thirst for knowledge.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education with a focus on Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University, Principal Price holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Regent University in Virginia Beach and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Delaware State University.

Additionally, she is nearing completion of a second Master’s degree in Education from Wilmington University, a milestone she plans to achieve after her Ph.D. program.

Principal Price possesses extensive experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, particularly those facing educational disadvantages. Her commitment to inclusivity, cultural responsiveness, accountability, respect, and the transformative power of education is unwavering. Her vision for Warner Elementary revolves around revitalizing the school environment into a vibrant hub for teaching, learning, and recreation. This vision involves implementing advanced instructional materials to challenge students academically, addressing their holistic needs encompassing social, emotional, physical, and mental health through the school’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and continuing to provide essential resources such as wellness facilities, dental clinics, clothing closets, food pantries, and community services like The Dr. Terrance Newton Barber Shop.

Principal Price eagerly participates in the Wilmington Learning Collaborative, an initiative aimed at combating modern segregation in education. She looks forward to contributing her own insights as well as those of her staff and families to redefine the trajectory of students’ futures.
